If you have studied at higher education level in Australia your eligibility for certain courses will depend on the amount of study you have done.
Your selection rank will be based on your grade point average (GPA). SATAC will use your GPA from any higher education level course you enrolled in for the equivalent of one full-time semester or more (0.5 FTE).

Calculating a Grade Point Average (GPA) (25KB PDF)

For students currently studying in a higher education course your GPA will include your results up to, and including, Semester 2, 2025. Results from later study periods are usually not included. This might affect applicants studying in summer school or with Open Universities Australia (OUA).
For most courses, your higher education GPA is calculated from your higher education level studies for the equivalent of one semester or more (0.5 FTE).
Shorter studies cannot be used to calculate a GPA. If you have attempted more than one higher education level course, SATAC will consider your GPA from each course separately.
