The South Australian Tertiary Admissions Centre (SATAC) is responsible for processing and assessing applications for entry to tertiary courses in South Australia and the Northern Territory.

Participating Institutions Governance

Founded in 1977 by South Australia’s universities, SATAC offers a single application process for our tertiary education and applicants can apply to multiple within the one application, rather than having to complete separate applications for each.

We assess applications and provide participating institutions with a list of applicants. The institutions then decide who receives an and SATAC issues those offers on their behalf.

SATAC also calculates the ATAR (Australian Tertiary Admission Rank) and for and students, and process applications for selected equity scholarships at the Adelaide University.

SATAC is a not-for-profit company limited by guarantee and registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC).
