Adelaide University offers degrees across a variety of academic field and the entry requirements for these degrees vary. Full details about the admission requirements and the many ways to gain entry into Adelaide University can be found here: https://adelaideuni.edu.au/study/
Choose your preferences with confidence. Most Adelaide University degrees offer Guaranteed Entry scores. You’ll automatically receive an offer if you meet the set ATAR-based selection rank or Year 12 subject grades. There’s no need for a separate application.
Some degrees have prerequisites and other eligibility criteria for entry that you also need to meet.
Some conditions apply when using Year 12 subject grades to achieve Guaranteed Entry. For grades achieved within the SACE or NTCET, subjects need to be 20-credit Stage 2 Tertiary Admission Subjects (TAS). Applicants also need to complete their SACE/NTCET qualification and achieve a base ATAR of 50 or higher (before any adjustment factors).
Whether you’re looking to change career direction or advance further in your field, Adelaide University’s 100% online degrees offer you the flexibility to fit study around your life without compromising the quality of your education. Adelaide University brings together the proven expertise of two leaders in online education – the University of Adelaide and the University of South Australia – to deliver expert-led and industry-informed qualifications designed specifically for online learning.
For further information or to apply directly, see our website: https://adelaideuni.edu.au/study/online/
Commonwealth supported places in all degrees are subject to quotas and applicants should note that even if they satisfy the admission requirements, they will be competing for a limited number of places for each program. Selection is based on the relative performance of applicants within the selection criteria (e.g. ATAR, grade point average (GPA) from previous tertiary study, etc and, where applicable, performance in auditions or interviews.
Adelaide University is committed to becoming a university of choice for Aboriginal Peoples. Our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Pathway is a fee-free program with no tuition fees. A student services amenities fee applies to all university students which can be deferred through the Federal Government HECS-HELP loan scheme. This program is offered also in regional areas and provides culturally aware entry options and tailored study support. Like Foundation Studies, the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Pathway is split into three blocks, with a series of entry, exit and transition points that cater to diverse educational backgrounds and your chosen destination degrees.
If you’re offered a place at AU, you can choose to defer the start of your studies until the following year. There are some exceptions so check the individual program entries. Many programs also offer midyear entry.
Many degrees will grant advanced standing (credit) towards the requirements of the degree on the basis of corresponding studies completed at other institutions. This is particularly the case with studies taken at other universities, but some VET studies are also accepted for credit towards university degrees.
Enrolment dates may vary from degree to degree. If you receive an offer of a place, you will be sent detailed instructions for enrolling online in that degree.
