Eynesbury College dedicated to bridging the gap between school and university and opening access to study options for all students. For over thirty years, the college has been providing students with the opportunity to pursue their degree preferences and is a valuable alternative for Year 12’s who do not meet the direct university entry requirements. Through small-class sizes, personalised teaching methods and extensive support, students will have the opportunity to excel. All year 12 graduates are eligible to study the Diploma pathway degrees, regardless of their results or ATAR.
Diplomas can be studied instead of or as a replacement to the first year of university, with credit varying depending on a student's bachelor preference. No ATAR is required; applications are assessed on achievements of SACE. Diploma options include Engineering, IT, and Business. On completion, the diploma provides the option to either continue further studies at Adelaide University with up to a year of credit to put towards their degree; or to enter to work force and re-commence study at a later time if they wish.
The Diploma pathway option is for students who:
- Do not meet ATAR entrance requirements for direct bachelor entry
- Complete Year 12 (SACE) but do not attain an ATAR
- Do not complete enough subjects to achieve SACE
- Need to meet pre-requisite requirements for bachelor entry
- Successfully complete Year 11 and do not wish to continue on to Year 12, or
- Are a mature-aged student that does not meet mature-age university entry requirements (assessed case-by-case).
The pathway college is located in Adelaide’s CBD. Core classes are capped at 25 students, allowing for one-on-one support, interaction and assistance between teaching staff and students and enabling teachers to better assess individual student needs.
Eynesbury College is part of and supported by the Navitas Group. Navitas is a leading global education provider that has helped generations of learners transform their lives through education. Exemption for the Diploma Stage 1 will be granted to students who complete Year 12 and achieve their SACE.
After completing the diploma, students can apply to their preferred Adelaide University Bachelor program via SATAC, or if issued with a packaged offer students will simply transfer to Adelaide University.
