Select from the options below to clarify application procedures for TAFE courses starting in 2017.

International applicants

If you do not have Australian or New Zealand citizenship, nor permanent residency status for Australia, nor an Australian permanent humanitarian or refugee visa, you are an international applicant.

International applicants do not apply through SATAC.

For details on how to apply for TAFE South Australia courses contact TAFE South Australia International on + 61 8 8463 5487 or freecall (in Australia) 1800 049 492 or visit the TAFE SA website.

Applicants under 16 years of age

If you are under 16 years of age you can't yet apply for TAFE SA courses through SATAC.

South Australian law states that young people aged 6 to 16 years are of Compulsory School Age and must be enrolled in and attending school full-time. Between ages 16 and 17 the same law requires you to be in full-time education or training, or employed full-time.

Contact your school's VET coordinator to discuss training options for the future.
