Waiting for an offer to a course? Make sure you are offer round ready with this handy checklist.

1. Make sure your email address is current and accessible

SATAC sends offers by email, so it’s important that you have access to your inbox. If you applied using an email address you don’t have regular access to, now would be a good time to change it.

2. Find your SATAC reference number

Your SATAC reference number is a unique identifier for your application. If you need to talk to SATAC about your application, you will need this number. Check that you have it handy before offer round days.

3. Check your application

Check to make sure the information in your application is accurate. Are your preferences in the right order? Did you include all the necessary information about your qualifications? Do you have SATAC fees owing?

If you don't receive an offer in one of our offer rounds it can sometimes be a simple oversight in the application. Check your application now to avoid disappointment!

4. Important information is in your inbox

SATAC will always email you any offers or important information about your application.

Keep an eye on your inbox and let us know if you have any questions.

5. Read emails for instructions about what to do next

If you receive an offer, we will email you important information about what to do next.

If your offer is to your first preference, you will not need to take any further action with SATAC. If you want to defer or make changes to your preferences, the offer letter will explain what you need to do.

If your offer is to your second or a lower preference, you may need to log in to your online application and respond to your offer.

6. No offer? No worries, there’s still time

Many courses continue to make offers after December and January. Check the key dates for more information about offer round days.

There are a few reasons why you might not receive an offer. If you are unsure or need further advice about your application you can contact us to discuss your options.
