Check your spam or junk email folder in the first instance. If the email is not received after a few hours it may be that there is a technical issue, or you’ve mistyped your email address. Contact SATAC and we will check for you.
SATAC applications for TAFE SA courses are free.
When you have reached the maximum number of offers in your TAFE SA application you will not be able to make any further changes to your preferences, or receive any more offers.
The CSPA is a tool designed to indicate reading, writing and numeracy/maths skills. It is free of charge for TAFE SA applicants. For more information about the CSPA visit the TAFE SA website.
Satisfactory demonstration of reading, writing and numeracy skills is a course admission requirement for a range of TAFE SA courses. Check the course entry details carefully when applying to see if you need to sit the CSPA.
You will be able to book a Core Skills Profile for Adults (CSPA) 24 hours after you submit your application. Please contact TAFE SA on 8417 0501 - available Monday to Friday 8:00am to 6:00pm.
TAFE SA will email results of the CSPA to applicants within five working days after the sitting.
No, previous TABS scores and previous STAT results can no longer be used in the assessment of current applications.
The online application will tell you when you need to provide supporting documents. Whether you need to supply supporting documents will depend on the course(s) you have applied for and the type of qualifications you hold. You can find out more about submitting supporting documents on the After you apply page.
In the online application, the list of documents required is a snapshot of your application at the time you submitted it. It does not update when you submit documents to SATAC.
Many TAFE SA courses are offered at different levels. If, for example, you do not meet the CAR for a Diploma level course, you may be able to apply for the same course at Certificate III level.
